Who's got the biggest baby?
of course: Automatic "Big Baby" tiaras to the new mamas of Twins, since technically you've got us all beat on baby weight!
But I'm wondering where we stand: after oiling our scale we discovered that Lilli weighed 10 lbs 4 oz. Anyone got a bigger chunkling?

i don't think any of us are likely to beat atenthmuse - her baby boy was 12 pounds! http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=886491

but 10lb4oz sure isn't any slouch either!

mine was big enough at 9lbs even i can't imagine anything much bigger!

Wow! 12 lbs, and just look at him! that's amazing!
Who else?

Do you mean at birth or now? I keep meaning to take DS in for a weight check, but I'd be shocked if he's less than 10 lb. He's 5 weeks now, but he was 9 lb 4 oz at 2 weeks, and he's now in 3-6 month clothes.

I'm so in the running once baby gets here! My first two were 9lbs 8oz (induced) and 7lbs 14oz (induced early). So, since I'm already past 40w, I expect this baby to be the biggest yet.

Lol. My biggest before this was 8.9 lbs... Major difference!

I think so! Amazing, indeed. I still can't get over it.

Btw, y'all are on!

How about shortest and longest labors?

I am not in the running for any of it, as I had a very avg 8lber and a very average 17hr labor (although the intense part was only 2.5-3hrs, thankfully).

Now labor I can get in the running for...
Once my cntrx were 5 minutes or less apart...32 hours
I had cntrx farther apart than that for about 10 hours or so...
i don't think my labor is the shortest, i seem to reccall at least a few that were shorter though i'm spacing out on who they were. but mine was quite short at 4.5 hours

My labor was about 3 hours and 15 minutes. However, I remember someone having a 2 - 2.5 hour labor?? I think it was early in the month.

Well I'm not going to win the longest labor contest, I went into labor Tuesday at 5 am and she was born Wednesday at 2:25 am, so not even 24 hours. Although with DS I went into labor on A Thursday night at 9 pm and he was born Sunday morning at 6 am. If I hadn't succumbed to pitocin, I've no idea how long it would have taken.
With the babys' weight, I mean the babys' birth weight. Who else had a 10+ pounder?
Me! I had the 2.5 hour labor! and a 9lb 13 oz baby girl-bet we'd have made 10lbs if she hadn't pooped a couple of times before she got weighed! !
I know I won't win, but James was 9lb1 oz . I'm not sure how I count my labor because it was induction and it took a bit to get things going, but I was in active labor for 1 hour 50 minutes.

I hadn't thought about the pooping, we didn't even weigh her for the first time until about two days after she was born. She was just barely getting milk by then.

Our little guy was 10 lbs. even at birth. Last week at his 1 month check up, he was 10 lbs. 13 oz. and he'd grown a full inch in length. He's in the 75th percentile. Whatever that means, really.

My labor lasted 11 hours? 12?

Hi Guys, I hardly ever post, due to having 4 kids and the littlest always in my arms.
My labor was 1 hr 45min from the time i knew it was happening to holding my little man. 5 min of pushing. he was 8lbs 3 oz at birth and 9lbs 12 oz at 3.5 weeks.

My LO weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and labor lasted about 30 hours.
