Dish Detergent...

Thread Starter
I am new to making my own dish detergents... I am using a Dr. Bronners blend in the sink which is drying out my hands terrible (I am going to have to revisit this down the road)...
I am using a Borax blend for in the dishwasher.
I am so not crazy about the dishwasher blend... I need help!?! The only recipes I am finding online are Borax based... Anyone have any other ideas?

I use Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds

or Dr. Bronner's Castille soap straight out of the bottle. Borax is very drying on the skin!

I wear gloves when my hands get rough. I know those yellow plastic gloves are not very green but if you keep them for years like I do (my current pair is almost 8 years old) then that is good.

You can use it to preserve fresh flowers because it takes out the moisture and that is what it is doing to your hands.

Best wishes on finding a solution.

Sincerely,
Debra, homeschooling mom of 4 ages 11 1/2, 10 1/2, 8 1/2, and almost 5
