I grew up using Pledge & a paper towel and have been searching for a magic solution in the years since I gave up that method.
I've been using microfiber cloths, terry wash cloths, or mateless socks (all dry) with the same results. Everything I use seems to just push the dust to the edge of whatever I'm dusting and then it's pretty tricky to actually get it off whatever I'm dusting. Are my materials the problem or is it my technique? Do I need to use some kind of dusting solution/liquid to help get the dust off?

: - They do use green cleaning products though!
so at work they insist on some sort of cleaner.
Thank you
. I hate dusting but use a feather duster when I do.
