I can't put any kind of bubble bath in my bath water or I break out in a rash all over. Perfumes and dyes...yuck. But an herbal bath is completely different. A couple drops of lavender oil or chamomile and aahhhhh......heaven......(essentail oils, not perfume oils - BIG difference). You can even use dried herbs and take a "tea" bath.
Essential oils can be strong for babies, just a drop would be enough, I'd think. They shouldn't need it, though, except a little eucalyptus to help a cough or runny nose from time to time...too much oil can burn skin, so you need to be conscious of how much (or little, actually) that you put in. A drop of essentail oil goes a long way. You can even find organic essentail oils now...
