Easiest sock toe (for a toe up sock) ever

Is Cat Bordhi's garter stitch toe (she uses it on her Coriolus sock)

Maybe not the prettiest thing ever, but without a doubt, the easiest.

Her pattern and the description of the toe are here

And here are my pictures. (I do have to add this, I think I c/o too many stitches and I think I'm going to frog back and c/o for just half the size 8 vs 16, which might result in a prettier toe. If I do, I'll post updated pics.)

Toe - not on foot

On foot

One more shot on the foot

(PS - it is very hard to photograph pregnant feet!)

Looks great. For my first toe up I used cometosilver.com and did the class for 2 toe up socks on one circular. I had a few mishaps, but all in all the photos and instructions were very clear and easy to understand.

I'm going to try this pattern next. Thanks.

Thanks for putting this up! I've always wanted to try knitting toe-up socks.
