Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know that my sweet baby girl was born this morning! Unfortunately, we did end up having a c-section, but everything went very smoothly with that so I can't complain too much. She was born at 9:01 AM and weighed in at 6lbs7oz. She's 19 1/2 inches long and has a full head of hair. And nursing is already going beautifully - she latched as soon as I put her to my breast, and she's just like her big brother was in that she likes to stay latched on and kind of snack as she sleeps.

Sadly, we still haven't agreed on a name, so I'm off to some baby name websites......

Have you had a c-section before? Make sure to take it easy and get as much rest as you can, it really helps with a good recovery.

Thanks everyone! I think we've finally agreed on Madilynn Rae for a name. DH was very opposed to Madilynn for a long time, but we simply cannot use our top two choices for a name and, well, it's my turn to have final say on a name since DS's name was his choice. And Maddy just seems to suit her.

I'll try to post pictures tomorrow - DH hasn't taken many with our camera yet because he was too busy trying to take a bunch on my mom's camera. She's such a beautiful litte girl....looks SO much like her big brother did when he was born, there is no denying that they are siblings!
