I'm not anywhere near finishing my thesis. I hadn't even decided if I actually want another child with h. Of course I would be thrilled, but this would be a little crazy. Well, maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm going to poas tomorrow.
now you got ME excited, too! my boobs are always sore before AF so I wouldn't see that as a sign for me, but of course for you it can be a totally different story. I understand about your conflicting emotions.. I just really hope you get what you secretly hope for!

Hi ladies,

How are you feeling oceane? I hope AF is being gentle with you and catemom. I am sorry you are nervous catemom. I went very blithely into mine and then regretted it, I wished I'd done more research, blah!

Lilgreen, hugs to you too! I wish I were that fertile, LOL! But I sure remember that feeling when my thesis wasn't finished so I guess I am hoping for you that you are not PG for now!

AFM, this is the weirdst cycle I've ever had. You are right though oceane, no AF as of yet so at least my LP seems to be lengthening out again! Check it out in my siggy, it's bizarre. Keep in mind that all the other cycles showing on my overlay are from when I was temping orally which made THOSE temps about 2 degrees C less than my new ones. So this month's temps are really low!

A weird cycle could be a good sign Veganmama. I do think its funny that you always have a dip on 11DPO.

snow pea, looks like ovulation!
on affirmations: when I ride my bike around our neat river area here I tell myself I am as fertile as everything around me (it's so green right now!), and I also tell myself I am like a cherry tree with blossoms. "healthy" often gets mentioned, too, like "I have a great healthy uterus and produce big mature eggs." ok, sounds weird. I'm not sure if I am doing them right, it's just thoughts I haven't written anything down. and next to my computer I have a picture of our friends' son when he was a baby and a postcard with a breastfeeding activist mother in a crowd. I want that!

veganmama, yay for a longer lp. I agree with snow pea, different could be a good thing. fingers crossed. I am fine, I'm lucky in that I spotted and knew it was coming and it only hurts on the first real day for the first half of the day. I want to try the PMS diet (meaning: no sugar) for that, but I doubt I can contain myself in Canada, I've read they have choc chips cookies at Shoppers! but all other days are very easy going and I hope to be done soon.
Oceane, I am trying to cut out sugar too. But youa re right, er do have cookies at Shopper's, LOL!

LP is 12 days and counting so at the very least, at least my LP is lengthening out again, phew!

Just popping in to say I got a bfn this morning. I'm neutral about it and glad that I can stop obssessing (although there is the possibility that it was just too early to test...)

O/T...We're finally supposed to get some hot weather here and I am soooo ready for it!

lilgreen, I don't really know whether to congratulate you or feel sorry or what... neutral is good in your case, right? I'm enjoying warm weather here, too!

Hello All!

Oceane Your affirmations and positive thinking are sounding great to me! I think the key to the affirmations is to keep them short and sweet, and avoid using negatives (no, don't nothing, etc.) because apparently your brain doesn't process those.

I am wondering if I should cut way back on the processed vegan foods I love for a while (soymilk, fake cream cheese, fake sour cream, etc.) and focus my diet on foods that are closer to the way nature made them.

The weather here today reminds me of my trip to Ireland ten years ago (cold, windy, rainy) minus the awesome experience.

Have a great day everyone!

Veganmama, yay for a longer LP and the possibility of being the next graduate from the vegan ttc group!

oceane and catemom, thank you for sharing your affirmations. They sound perfect to me. Sweet and simple, just the way our subconcious probably likes it. I wasn't really sure if I knew what an affirmation was supp to be, so it helps to hear yours and build off that. I have been trying to day dream more about actual birth and my future baby, instead of just about what my life will be like after having a child.

lilgreen. I know you weren't trying yet and so you weren't necessarily hoping for a bfp. But I know the possiblity of it messes with our heads(or hearts) some times, even when the timing is terrible. I hope you get the answer you want soon.

after a week of sunshine it's raining today. not bad but I was hoping to go for a bike ride again. ah well, I have to work later anyway. first watching re-runs of Gilmore Girls

catemom, sounds like what I am always trying to do (except for soymilk, but I do use oatmilk, too) but have a hard time with. I'm fine till lunch usually, then start eating what else is in the house. doesn't help to have a store nearby...
I'd love to go to Ireland. Wind and rain sound like my place though

veganmama, excitement here for you....

snowbell and all our amandas, any updates? andee?

FF just moved my O date from CD 15 to CD 26 and says I am only 3 DPO instad of 14 DPO now.

I've never O'd that late in my life, even after the m/c I O'd on CD 23.

What do you all think?

since you never got another batch of ewcm I'd stick with the first date, especially since the new higher temperatures aren't that much higher, ykwim? there is only two below the coverline.

Yes, neutral is good. I probably should stop hanging around the ttc board until I've figured out what I really want. But, I think the problem is that I know what I want, but I'm not sure if I should. However, my temp did go up today...

Thanks SnowPea.. I do think this 'possibility' made it clear to me what my heart wants.

Have you taken a test just to rule that out? The previous O date seemed to make more sense.
Hey Lilgreen, it sounds as if you do know indeed what your heart wants,

I did break down and do a test. However, I didn't have any at home so I couldn't use FMU. I used SMU and I couldn't hold it for very long. Just under 2 hours.
BFN. But I don't know if that was long enough to hold my pee for. I've always used FMU before.
Veganmama, I think the prev O date makes more sense too. It seemed to fit with your other cycles when you overlayed them.
Well my temp stayed up again this morning (15 DPO or 4 DPO depending on what O date you believe) so I tested. BFN .

So I guess my cycle is just completely screwed up.

I just don't get it.

Another "not mama yet"

Hi everyone,

I'm yet another vegan who's not yet TTC, but my husband and I are planning to start in June 2009. We're in the process of buying a house right now and we don't want to add a baby into the mix just yet.
Anyway, I was really happy to find this thread! I'll be lurking!

another vegan ttc and i just started using fertility friend today. CD1. i'm excited! i'm taking maca but my husband and i have been using it a lot prior to ttc. hopefully, it will help us a lot this cycle. i've been taking prenatal vitamins for quite a few months now (just in case)- does anyone have any recommendations as far as what else to add? calcium? the vitamins i'm taking seem low for that- though i do eat a lot of leafy greens- i just want to be sure.

okay! back to lurking. good luck guys.
