Cupcake Carrier - Is it worth it? - Page 2

I say not worth it because it's one more thing you have to store, organize, clean etc. For me, it's less about the money than the space for things like that - cupcake trays, devilled egg carriers, hotdog keepers, etc.

I have one that doesn't have compartments. it is WONDERFUL. I think I like it best because it has a handle on the top. (Mine came from walmart though for around $10 ) I use it all the time for potlucks and not just for cupcakes. Its great for sliced watermelon, shucked corn, muffins, cookies, etc.

ETA-we are totally making cupcakes today after reading this thread!

I went to my local grocery store, stopped by the bakery, and bought some of the cupcake holders for 50 cents each.So far, I've used them twice to transport/store cupcakes. They've worked out perfect for us.

So many good ideas here! I bought a carrier that holds 12 regular cupcakes, or 24 mini ones, or a cake. And I completely regret it. The thing takes up so much room, and when am I ever going to need 12 or less cupcakes?!?! 24 makes so much more sense.

Slightly OT, but we have these http://www.cupacake.com/ for the kids to take cupcakes in their lunches. We love them!!!

sorry--no advice on the carrier!
Yeah, same with me. I wouldn't buy the thing though, seems kinda like extra junk. Who really cares if your cupcakes stick together? You do. The kids dont. I dont know, just my opinion.

I've had the Tupperware one for several years and it looks good as new. It takes up space but there's nothing like knowing your cake is secure and won't fall out in your car. I don't think I've used it just for cupcakes though. If you have the space for it get it. I saw that one at Target the other day. Cupcakes rock!
