The second I get home I'm on that microwave!!

Next contestant: Organize your silverware(area,drawer,container, etc.)and get rid of anything mismatched or not used! Clean out the container(or whatever used)before putting everything back in!

I totally did that this morning!!! And I was thinking, as I was doing it, "I should post this one in the cleaning challenge thread."

Ok new one: dust & clean (where necessary, like the bits the cat sits on) all your windowsills!!!

I'm on it.

Next person: gather up all books and magazines that are scattered around your house. Put the books in their shelves, and the magazines in a rack, or recycle. Any library books that are due, put them in the car!

Okay - take a damp cloth and run it along the top of every door in your home (or as many as you can in 5 minutes !)

Done! And EW! I had no idea... man I suck at this housekeeping thing!

And while I was doing that, I noticed....

Go wipe all the fingerprints and goo off all your light switches!

Go check under couch cushions and down the sides - look for crumbs maybe even some money !

I'm on the stove as soon as I get home from work!

NEXT: Clean out the area under your sink(s). Anything to throw out, organize, wipe?

I might as well do this one, too. I did the scouring challenge for all four sinks and ended up scrubbing down the surrounding areas, too. So, it seems fitting to finish up all four sinks by cleaning out under them... OY! I'm off to do this now...

Next contestant: Dust the corners of your ceilings and walls and any ceiling fans. Just do what you can in 5-10 minutes!

Got 'em. Well all except for the super high fan. I need to stand on a chair on top of the kitchen and table and reach to get it. No way.

Wipe down legs of kitchen tables and chairs.

Did it as promised self yesterday. Will do light switches tonight(to play catch up!)and will empty bathroom trash(very much needed)

NEXT: If you've got stairs with carpet, vacuum them! If not, clean area behind refrigerator!
