Had Dr. appt today

Went in and saw my doctor for my 36 week appt. My blood pressure was at 143/83 which is high for me. but my right leg was killing me so I am pretty sure that is why it was up. he checked out my leg as he was a little worried that it might be a blood clot. But decided it was the tendon on the outside of my leg was irritated. so he told me to go home and rest it and strech it and dont be up on it untill it quit hurting. The babies heart rate was at 136 and I was measuring 36 cm so right on. He did a VE and GBS swab. My cervix is closed and thick still so nothing there which is kind of a bummer. even though it can mean nothing. go back again next week same time. I think Ronnie finally realized that it make still be 4 or more weeks before this baby shows up. I had excepted this fact but having the doctor say the same thing is a little depressing. expecially since things seem to be getting a little worse everyday aches and pains and sleep wise. well thats my update.

Glad to hear it's probably not a blood clot. 36 wks is still almost the end. And remember it's completely possible for your cervix to go from closed for business to open in a matter of days.

Yep four weeks isnt that long. I think I can handle it...but it would sure be nice for it to only be two weeks lol

Glad things are looking okay!! I hope your leg feels better soon!! My BP is always high when my MW checks it, but I get a baaaaad case of white coat hypertension these days. Honestly, I WISH my Dr. had told me it'd be a while with DD, because hearing him tell me he expected me to go early and stuff along those lines made it SUCK. Dumb man...figures, he's never been through pregnancy!!

My BP was up this week too. I notice my carpal tunnel gets really crappy when BP is up. All the swelling and stuff is related...maybe the BP is aggrivating the issue in your leg? Just a thought.
