Affordable Environmentally Friendly Deck Furniture?

We're on the lookout for deck furniture that's affordable and made of eco-friendly material. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? TIA

I know Cost Plus has a couple outdoor sets that are made from Forest Stewardship Council certified hardwood. I suppose it really depends on what is the more important aspect of eco-friendly to you... avoiding plastics, sustainably harvested woods, or would you prefer wrought iron?

I got an email from Crate & Barrel that they did and they did say affordable but I never checked it out.

cristeen, we would like to avoid plastic that isn't recycled or wood that isn't sustainably harvested and would consider composite material. What's Cost Plus?

janasmama, the stuff at crate and barrel is beautiful but not what I'd consider afffordable.

I have been looking at this site for bamboo furniture....... Some of it seems very affordable depending on what you are looking for!

you can get some great deals at yard sales. Using objects that are already out there is a great way to cut consumption!
