All 3 times I got preggers we DTD during AF (the tail end). I have 3 girls.

ETA- I'm actually thinking about this more. Now that I remember correctly Lily was conceived on day 2 of AF and Mable about the same time because we were trying and it had worked before (but we only DTD that once. Smething happened and we got busy elsewhere ) Olive was a surprise but we got pretty crazy and didn't think about it when AF was in town. Just can't remember when...

OK that made me laugh out loud. I can see her dh dressed in a super man costume, the music swells, dun da dun "Super sperm man to the rescue". He can leap thru large cervixes with a single shot...he's super sperm man.

How do you get pregnant WHILE having your period? Isn't it that you're at the tail tail end of AF, then supersperm and super EWCM kick in to keep the buggers alive until a week or so later when you ovulate? anyone else lost on this? lol

Well, you don't actually GET pregnant while having your period, of course, but I think I know what she meant I've had a couple of friends with super short cycles, and short follicular phases, so if she dtd on day 2, and o'd say on day 6-7, it's possible she could have conceived.

According to the ultrasound dates I've been given, sperm lived 6+ days , and it's girl. I still think though that we conceived at a later date, and the ultrasound is wrong.

Ditto. Dtd 5 days before o. Confirmed with early u/s for bleeding (and later by the actual birth lol). I was charting. We had a boy - 9 lbs. I was SO hoping for a girl because I heard girl sperm live longer but nope had a boy.

We dtd cd6, day after AF, no ewcm for three more days, ended up being 5 days before an early O, and got a boy

Yes, an amazing oops. Unless it was a problem with the condom we used as backup 3 days before O. Or two days after O when I decided to risk not using a condom. But anyway...a boy.
