I am so frustrated (aka another possible labor post)

This morning at 12:15 CST I got up to pee. On my way I leaked fluid, soaked my panties and ran down my legs into small puddles on the floor. I tried to stop it but it kept coming.

Now 11 hours later still nothing real. I am having contractions but they don't seem to be regular and are not uncomfortable. I cannot time them b/c sometimes I don't really feel them (just when I happen to put my hand down and feel my tight uterus). I pooped twice this morning, which DH said is a sign in itself since I am doing good if I go everyday normally. No additional leaking or mucous.

I talked to MW, she said don't go into work and just wait and see and touch base again in a few hours. It has been 4 hours since then and I have not called her yet, b/c I have nothing to report.

So what do you think? Did I just pee on myself this morning? As time goes by and nothing seems to be happening, I am really starting to wonder.

I think it's a great time to have hubby pamper you, go for a walk (or car ride over bumpy road), make sure you're eating and drinking well and be patient.

It does sound like your water. The only time I've peed like that has been when I was puking HARD.

Yeah Im doubting that's pee too. Try laying down for a little bit. Sometimes if you are up and moving around baby's head "corks" the fluid. You may get another confirming gush if you lay down for a little while. Besides, if it is labor, you may be glad you took a little rest instead of wearing yourself out. JMO GL and ELV to you!

Yep, it sounds like it could be your water leaking. And contractions don't always get going just because the water has broken. So, its possible that labor is coming, just hasn't quite gotten into a good groove yet. Have you tried going for a nice walk?

Hope things pick up for you. Does sound like this might be it, though!

So here's my update...

Nothing is happening. I talked to the MW again. She said it may have not been my water since I am not leaking and she is sure I had a lot of fluid from my last visit. She said it may have been a little urine with something else (starts with a "L" but I can't remember).

I am still having the same kind of contractions.

My instructions are to take a nap, did that, and walk around the mall (rainy here) or go see a movie to distract myself and keep from obsessing about the contractions.

So, I'm off to shower and mall walk.

I found this for you, it may have been your bag of waters, but not THE bag of waters:

There are two layers to the amniotic membranes. The outer bag can rupture and release the small amount of fluid that is accumulated between the layers. The inner bag is still intact, and it's the inner bag that really counts, in terms of keeping the baby's space protected from germs.

A lot of other cool stuff on that page.

Pretty fascinating stuff!
