I am really making some progress on my food storage goals!

I am so excited that I just had to share the photos. (Please feel free to leave comments! )

What else do you think I should store?

Hey..that's really great. Where did you get the wooden boxes your onions are stored in? I want one to hold DS's toys. (and how long do onions store?)

I would also pick up some gallon jugs of water and store that. We keep about 6 on hand at all times.

So neat and tidy! I love the Norwegian labels.

I have zippo food storage. Should I be worried? Is it stored to tide you over in difficult times or because you found a great deal and stocked up? Or a combination?

A little of both, but mostly just to make certain that I am all stocked up for winter. In Montana, we can have winter weather (i.e. snow, slick roads, et cetera) 9 months out of the year. I am a CHICKEN about driving in questionable conditions, so during the summer I try to lay in all the supplies I will need for the coming winter. This year we live in a much bigger house, and I have a dedicated cold pantry, so I'm really stocking up!
