Anyone else's LO having trouble falling asleep?

The past few days, DS seems to have a little trouble crossing the threshold into sleep. He'll get close and then start wiggling and crying. It doesn't really matter if he's nursing to sleep, laying in our arms, or in the sling. We call it his, "Damn it, I'm tired, and I can't get to sleep" cry. I'm thinking it might be a growth spurt. Anyone else?

my babe's been doing that alot lately too. It's like he's fighting the sleep.
This morning it was just ridiculous!
He'd fall asleep for like, 15 minutes and then start whining and squirming all over, then fall asleep for 10 minutes and do it again. That continued for about 2 hours.
He's finally napping now.

When my LO gets like that I swaddle him and slow dance with him or nurse him and he is OUT. Lately I have been trying to just get him to the point of sleepiness and then putting him down in our bed so he can fall asleep there. dd would only sleep with my nipple in her mouth for almost the first year so trying to avoid that

Mine is doing the same thing, especially at night. I think a lot of it is gas, though. Sometimes I just lay her down right beside me and she falls asleep. I wonder if she just has trouble getting comfy in my arms after being there all day.
