baby dreaming?

My babe can be asleep for hours and the whole time it looks like he's dreaming.
He even cries out loud sometimes for a minute or 2 but his eyes are closed the whole time and then he'll just....STOP... and keep on sleeping.
Sometimes he giggles too.
And he's always making these squeaky, cooing noises and moving his arms and legs.
His dad is a carpenter and when he starts falling asleep he does this thing with his hand and I swear he's "hammering"--- but baby does it too now!
I wonder what he's dreaming of.
I figure when he's sad, he's dreaming of wet diapers and being cold
and when he's giggling, he's thinking of ninny
Do I just have a restless sleeper?

Oh yeah, we definitely see signs that DS is dreaming. He'll whine and cry a little in his sleep, and then his mouth will move like he's nursing, so I figure he's dreaming about being hungry and then getting fed.

Guess there's not much they can dream about at this stage in the game, but he gets pretty damn loud sometimes like he's having a nightmare or something Poor babe!

When they stir a little, and whimper or cry out? They're often waking up just enough to pee, then going right back to sleep. ;-)

DS1 used to dream about nursing all the freakin' time. DS2... I don't think I've seen him do it once!

I've never seen either of mine nurse in their sleep. This one does smile and coo, but I love it when he laughs. He gets this cute little chuckle going and it will last about 20 seconds. His whole body gets into it and it's so cute.

I wish I could get moments like that on video!
