Anyone know where to buy suede for making soft soled shoes?

I bought a suede jacket from the thrift store. I just made sure it didn't smell bad--didn't bother getting it cleaned since it's for feet anyway. It was pretty cheap!

I made DSs from leather. It was the samples from a furniture place selling leather sofas etc. Can't hurt to ask.

You can buy small pieces of suede and leather at most craft stores, usually stocked with the feathers, for some reason.

My local Michaels and Joanns carry it.
