Anemia can affect your milk supply. You may want to look into this. Good luck nursing your new little one.

thank you all for your support and advice......so far everything has been going great since my hubby decided to give me a chance. I really do have a good feeling about this!
She is now ten days old. She was born at 7.10 and when I weighed her at one week, she was 7.5...but I know that loss is still within safe and healthy ranges. She eats good and is getting better at latching on without pinching.
When I can, while nursing her I have been catching the milk in a bottle from the other side. I already have one bottle full (and froze) and working on the next. I figure if I have bottles of my milk on hand, then my hubby (or anyone else) would not have an excuse to give her formula if I am at the store longer or something. Also, the milk color looks really strong and healthy, unlike with my other kids.
So as I said, everything has been going great. She looks healthy and is having plenty of dirty diapers...so YIPPY!!!
thanks again!
