Suck training

Has anyone had any luck/experience with this? DS has just had his tongue tie clipped. I can see that he has much greater range of motion with his tongue, but unfortunately he is still chomping with his jaws to get milk and not putting his tongue forward over the gums. I am trying to get him to suck my pinky, but he generally resists.

I did with both kids, but DS in particular. But both my kiddos liked sucking on my pinky and not on pacifiers - I did find it helped quite a lot with DS, esp. when we did it right before he nursed.
