Finally!! It's starting to get HEAVY!!

I am trying to relax and just give in. I don't want to get too excited because my body tends to slow down when i "notice" what's going on.
I felt different today and my contractions, which I have been having for weeks (I am 40 weeks and 6 days...)and they were already "uncomfortable", were really hurting! I went for a little walk with a friend and went to get lunch and noticed a little bloddy show and then I came home and (get ready for some TMI...) kept feeling tons of gooey wetness down there and the biggest red glob (think jello shot size!)came out and globs of mucous etc keep coming out. Now it feels like there is SO MUCH more pressure pushing down, it's crazy! I am excited and really hope this means that my late babe will be here relatively soon!

Definitely sounds to me like you're going to be holding a baby within a day or two!!! Maybe sooner!

I hope, I hope, I HOPE!!! I wanna meet this baby! I'm so excited! thanks for all the sweet wishes. I could sure use the easy labor vibes!

oh my!

my midwife is on her way over. it seemed like my contractions werre 5 min apart for sooo long (all night and all am until a couple hours ago) and now they are really picking up! and "uncomfortable" I am trying super duper hard to not think of it as pain.... really hard! I want my mw to get here so she can check me and I can call the tub people, warm water sounds soo nice! please please please be an afternoon baby!
