I am an absolute novice when it comes to this topic and I hoping there is someone here who can help! My 17 month old son, like me, has extreme reactions to mosquito bites (they get very red, swollen, crust over and infected-looking and last forever and bother him a great deal). He is bit frequently and I can't keep him inside all day. I went to Wild Oats and they sold me Burts Bees poison oak soap and some drops to take out the itch. I need something to put on him every day to stop the bugs so he also sold me citronella essential oil and witch hazel with aloe vera in it. I left thinking I knew what to do, but I have no idea. How do I apply this? Can I create some kind of solution that I can spray on every day? also, I still breastfeed several times a day (and, of course, all night long, but that's a different forum...) and I am nervous that the deet I wear is in my breast milk - is that possible? Any input is welcome! Thank!
