I've lost two boys previously, one to SIDS and one stillbirth, so this is all the sweeter! My DD, age 7 ADORES him 
I don't wanna tell the whole birth story, but the highlights are: we labored for a long time before calling my doula and midwife. When I called my doula I knew I wanted support, but I didn't think that baby would be here so soon! I called my midwife shortly after I called my doula. She said that she was coming, since she thought next time we talked I would be pushing! That was kind of exciting. . . .
My doula got here first, then the midwife. I had the baby an hour and a half later. I was singing my birth song in the shower when they arrived. I got kinda panicky. My midwife was surprised that I could talk. She didn't know if I'd be having the baby imminently, or if I was just in early labor having trouble coping. My water broke, and she had me lay down to check me, and baby was making his appearance!
When he was born we talked about what we would name him, I said Victor. . . . I "asked" him what he thought of the name Victor. . . .and we ALL HEARD him SAY: "No". Crazy, huh?
