STUCK in pre-labor/early-labor hell?

ok seriously how long could this go on and not just GO? I'm on day #2 of regular contractions (and they HURT and they're HURTING my cervix and baby is moving down) and bowels cleaning out.

I did have some prodromal labor with my youngest, but nothing at ALL like this and certainly not like this so early!

I'm so cranky that a wild hyena might be nicer to be around right now.:

I can hardly walk or lay down even because his head is SOOOOO low.

- between this and the HG you've had such a hard time!

Sending you lots of : ELV to help get things going. More

Heres a gigantic Sending you some "pick up labor" vibes too : have you thought of trying some black or blue cohash to help speed things up? I know my MW's use that to help a woman who is having a tough time getting going. But, don't lose hope that you're body is not working correctly, its just getting there in its own time. I bet that once things really pick up you'll have your LO in your arms in no time.

I do have some b/b cohosh. Maybe I'll take that... this is just torturous!

Oh man, that sucks! You need to tell your baby to hurry his little butt out, mama needs him in her arms!

so sorry this is happening. Come on baby! Hope things pick up for you soon .

Me too!~ The last three days have been sort of calm and restful contractionwise and now it's gearing back up! ARG! How many days in a row can you have contractions and not get a baby or two out of it anyway?

Here's hoping both us last monthers are holding babies by the end of the night.

here's hoping it's not long for either of us Chantel!

DH kindly made me another tea of 5-week and B/B cohosh. I sure hope it works! If it hasn't picked up by bedtime I may do the castor wrap. I swear it feels like he's just going to try to PUSH his own way out!

I hope it's not too much longer for either of you!

: I hope you both have LOs in arms tonight! And what is a castor wrap? I know about taking it internally... just curious

it works much the same way, but gentler and without the diarrhea. encourages contractions that are happening to be stronger.

I've been doing the same thing for the past few days, contractions are starting to be pretty uncomfortable. Driving me insane!

Silly question but were are you putting it then? And by wrap I'm assuming a warm or wet towel?
