Play Group in the ft.worth area!

Hey all you crunchy mommas! DD is 5 months and I'd love for her to have some friends around the same age. Lets say we set up a play date!!!

Sorry, I don't know if there's many moms in the Ft. Worth area!!

Seems the TX crunch is all down south in Houston or Austin.

I'm near Frisco myself.

I am north of Fort Worth in Roanoke - I know there are others in the north Fort Worth area too! I am looking for a play group too. My daughter is 2 1/2 years old, so not a perfect match for a 5 month old. But maybe if others join too we could get a mix of ages.

Where do you live?

I have a 2 1/2 yo and a 10 mo old. I live in West fort worth. I WOHM full time so my time is limited but I'm interested.

I am just on the border of Tarrant county and I am willing to travel about as far as the mid cities or up to Roanoke for a playdate. I am always happy for company at my house. Guess I will just sub to this thread and see what happens!

subbing, i'm in South FW. I have older kids so sometimes playdates are tough, but I feel bad the little ones don't get them (though, homeschool park days include everyone).

We are currently living in North Richland Hills off of Glenview. I'm very willing to travel to get something together. I'm so desperate to be around like minded mommas.

We are pretty much always free on Thursday mornings. Is that a good time for anyone else? Any other suggestions for a day/time?

I, too, need to be around some crunchy Mamas and Daddies. I live west of Fort Worth in Willow Park and have a 32 month old. I have a pool if anyone wants to get together for a pool party!

Soooooo, I don't really live in Ft. Worth BUT DH is on military orders at NAS JRB until the end of July and of course travels there monthly for Reserve wkends. Since we will be joining him there most days -- think DD and I can join for some playtime?!? Please? We get so stir crazy on the base and the only thing around there is the mall. haha. Very willing to drive for the company of like minded mammas!!

Let me know--We'll be there Mon. :-)

I'm totally up for a play date! Who's in? The park maybe? But it looks like it'll be pretty hot, so my house is available if need be!

Again, I'm in Euless right on the edge of bedford and Hurst.

Thanks shoes! We are willing to drive to Euless! We are busy this week but we are available next Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (the 9th, 11th, and 12th). Does that work for you and anyone else? My daughter still takes an afternoon nap, so mornings are best for us.

we can probably make it next week. it's ds's last week of school right now so things are crazy but we'd love to meet up for a playdate soon. i'll watch to see what day you decide... wed or thurs would be better for us

Awesome that there are finally some responses on here! Unfortunately -- DH will be in Atlanta next week, so DD and I are staying in Houston. We'll be back up ya'lls way the 16th though - if you decide to make it a weekly thing :0)

How about if we make this first play group on Thursday the 12th at 10AM? That seems to work for a couple of us (we can always get together again soon to try to get a bigger turnout). Shoes, do you want to pick a park near you? Or do you want to PM your address to mama2j&t and me and anyone else who says they will come?
