Please come! I have a 14 month dd (but she's kinda small and completely bald so she looks younger! )

We will be at Keller Smithfield at 10AM tomorrow, since I have not heard any other places or times mentioned. My daughter is almost 3 YO. Looking forward to it!

The group is growing!!

What does everyone think of meeting at the playground at Central Market in Southlake this week? Maybe with it being smaller and more contained, we can chat more... is it too far of a drive for anyone? It's a drive for me but I'm looking for a reason to head out there for some shopping and this will give me an excuse.

If not, Kelller Smithfield has been good as well!

(shoes.... clear your pm box )

It was really nice meeting you ladies last week. I think Adrian enjoyed playing as well.

I don't mind driving to Southlake. Sounds like something I would want to check out anyway. I have yet to explore that area much.

sounds great for me too! Same time and day?

(pm box cleared! Thanks!!)

Thread Starter

yay!

I'm so glad that this has actually turned into something. I'm sorry for posting then sort of abandoning my post, lol. Are you still meeting in Southlake? If so when and what time.

Do any of you have children younger than 1 year?

Central Market playground, in Southlake, is a great location for us. And this Thursday, the 10th, at 10AM works for us too - if that is OK with everyone else. Thanks for the suggestion mama2j&t!

Tassierocks - you should come! We have a mix of ages! No kids under 1YO yet, but some that are just a little over 1YO.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again, and hopefully some new moms and kids too!

We were wondering what happened to you!!! Glad you came back. You should definitely come. Adrian is 15 months old. How old is your LO? I am sure it would be fun for him/her anyway. Adrian has always really enjoyed playing with older kids, even when he was much younger.

I will plan on seeing you ladies on Thursday!

Hi guys!
Just moved back. There is a Denton AP group I know. Right now I live in NRH and Denton is just too far to drive. Southlake sounds like an easy drive. I may try to make it.

Our play group today was so fun! It is exciting that it is growing! Anyone else out there who is thinking about coming should come!

Did we decide for sure to meet at Central Market in Southlake again next week at the same day and time? That worked great for us.

Also, I belong to a couple yahoo groups in this area that may have some moms who would like to come. Should we "advertise" our group by cross posting, or should we just stick with this thread on Mothering since that has been working great?

We had a great time today too. When we were leaving Trevor said he had 4 friends now. He loved playing with the girls

I think inviting others would be fine. It's always great to meet more people and that way if people can't always make it, we'll still have a group. Central Market was fun, but my kids like the park too so maybe we can change it up every couple of weeks. I liked having it at CM though.

I say absolutely invite your other groups! The more the merrier! Like mama2J&t said, that way if some can't make it, there's still a group meeting. Like for instance... I can't make it next Thursday But you guys have fun and I'll see you in a couple of weeks!

How are everyone's kids doing????? Faris is really sick! I was wondering if she picked sometime up at playgroup because we don't know anyone sick at the moment. I find it really odd that she's the only one sick too, because she's still getting 18 ounces of breast milk a day, I would think she'd be the most resistant to illness.
Her fever hit 104 and she's been non stop vomiting (way more than usual) even on slow continuous feed of breast milk.
Hope everyone is well...
