Hey all

I can offer my house this week, so we can beat the heat. PM if you are going to come and I'll send you directions. If you pm me your address (or city) I can send you a link to directions right to my house.

We are in Haslet which is a little west of Keller.

We don't have any plans that afternoon so we can keep the 10am time and then if you'd like to bring snacks/lunch we can just hang out as long as we'd like.

Yay air conditioning!!

Do I qualify for a playgroup if my DS is too young to do any playing? (Almost 6 weeks). I'd love a chance to meet new friends though.

I wouldnt be able to come this week though, Thursday is the 3rd day of the bar exam.

Finally found this thread. We would love to come to more of the playgroups. The CM worked well for us, as would Keller Smithfield park. I was thinking of heading to the indoor playground at the First Baptist Church in Grapevine on Thursday morning. It's so hot...

I'll have my girls with me - ages 13, 10, 7 and 4, along with my 6 yo nephew. We could also go on Friday morning if y'all have decided to go somewhere else.

Anybody want to come swim Friday (tomorrow, 8/1) morning? Swim at 10, vegan/flexible potluck when we get hungry. It's my community pool, and there's plenty of tables and shade. I'm in Keller, on the east side near NRH and Southlake. PM me for directions.

C'mon, we'll have fun and wear the kids out a bit

For play group this week (Thursday the 7th at 10AM), I can offer a swim get-together at my apartment's pool. I feel like my apartment itself might be too small. But our pool is awesome - very "resort style". There is not really a kid area, but there is a big fountain that the kids play in; and Ariel enjoys the entire pool with her floaties on and me staying very close. We live in Roanoke. PM me for directions if you are interested.

We had a nice time today with Meredith and her boys. Ariel and I are leaving for Michigan tomorrow and we will be gone a week. We will miss you all next Thursday. See you when we get back!

This week

I'd love to do a 10am playgroup this Wednesday or Thursday - is anyone available?
I'm Tamara - Mama to Zoey Star (4 in less than a month!) and a baby due anytime in the next month (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh). Zoey is going stir crazy since the heat is getting to me so we're home - a lot -. I could sure use some kiddos to keep her busy

....well since it's wednesday and i haven't heard anything, we'll just reschedule having playgroup at my house until next week..... if anyone wants to meet at the park tomorrow, post here... i'll check in the morning and maybe we can meet at keller smithfield at 10ish.

Anyone want to try to meet at a park or Central Market this Thursday? It looks like the weather might cooperate with an outside playgroup. I think I would vote for Central Market, just because I am going to need some more groceries by Thursday... but a park would be fine too.

Sounds good to me. It'll just be Sylvie and me this week, the boys are going camping. CM sounds good, I haven't been out there in awhile.
