Feel soooo nauseous, and tight belly

No one else in my house is nauseous, and I haven't eaten anything different, so it must be something hormonal. I also feel tight underneath my belly. I don't know if there is a pattern but I find myself getting my hopes up. Since ds2's labor was 2.5 hours total, my m/w always wants me to give her a warning, so I called her and told her a 10% chance of baby tonight. I figure by calling her, and posting here, it pretty much guarantees that nothing will happen. But still, let's obsess over symptoms:

woke up every hour last night with contractions
pooping lots
tight lower belly
nausea
no desire to eat
sore breasts w/ colostrum
baby very quiet

I'm going to take benadryl and go to bed, and hopefully she will come, but if not, I'm definitely going to work tomorrow so I don't have to obsess over my uterus.

Good luck to you!!!

Well I hope you get some sleep, I've been having the same thing all day... minus having a lot of contractions... I keep thinking it may be that there is absolutely NO ROOM left in there

The nasuea has hit here too, big time, I'm having flashbacks to the HG and a bit of cramping but that's it. Jope you get some rest, I'm off to bed too.

I have been nauseous all evening, I forced myself to eat & it helped a lot. I'm thinking bath/bed. Very tired. Crampy.

Nauseated here too. I am not sure if it from the constant BHs squishing my already squashed stomach or what... I feel like I am in the first tri all over again. Brushing my teeth was a total gag and heave fest

I don't think my time is close though.

I've been nauseous too. Must be hormonal...

Took some benadryl, slept better, but kept waking up with a combo of the bottom of my belly (button on down) tightening and getting round ligament pains at same time. And back pain. Weird. But still pg.

Darn. I had hoped that you would not still be pg this morning, Christine!

So you wanna go to the same rehab together in a few months for our benadryl dependency?

Sounds like we all are...I puked up everything last night and was getting some bad contrax one on top the other...my mom was like do you think we should go now? Uhhh...no mom...it'll stop soon just like the other times.

And it did...had a few strong contrax wake me up in the night...but I'm still here and still preggo...40 weeks 2 days and counting and counting and counting...

Hunh. I'm feeling a touch nauseous too. Never felt that with my other labours, so I don't know if it's an indicator that something's about to happen? I'm 38 weeks today.

Nauseaus and throwing up here too. Not to mention terrible heartburn and acid reflux.

i've been feeling nauseous on and off for a week now. what's up with our poor DDC?! we've had more 3rd tri pooping and puking than we deserve!

i haven't been able to eat much lately, and i lost 2 lbs between my 35 and 37 weeks appointments. i thought maybe that was a sign labor was coming, but no luck yet. maybe it's a pre-labor sign for you all though!

So it appears that none of you ladies with nausea have had babies yet, have you??

I am totally naseous today. Feels like MS all over again. Thought it could be a sign of things starting up. I am sure it is, but it doesn't appear to be imminent then...

Yeah, no baby here. LOTS of dry heaving last night with my BHs, poor DH was trying to get me in the mood and I kept heaving and he was like "fine, if it will make you puke, I will leave you alone". I am worried if sex alone would make this baby come, she will NEVER get here because between the constant BH, the nausea, and the pinching in my cervix, there is nothing I want near my vagina.

No baby. Bloody show yesterday morning though, which, while I though it very exciting at first (dd1 was born 6 hours after bloody show with her), I've now come to conclude means . . . that I'm going to have a baby this month! Which I already knew

I'm starting to have those little changes though - my armpits have gotten stinky in the last couple days (I normally don't need deodorant but when I'm nursing a newborn, I smell pretty strong ), my skin is looking a bit better, I'm having mild warm twingy surges (similar to period cramps).

Of course, none of this means much given that I know how far along I am (how fun would it be to not have a due date and have these signals that it would happen soon?), but it's still exciting.

I wish we had a ticker across our bellies so we knew when to get excited. I mean seriously, should we start celebrating impending labor in 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks? Our bodies seem to send such mixed signals and it is hard not to read too much into them.
