What kind of soap do you use for wetfelting? I have been having really bad results lately. I just use my dishwashing soap...

Hey, hi Annie!
I just use dishsoap as well. What colors are you trying to felt? Sometimes white wool and lighter colors are harder to felt.

They have been lighter colors, yellow and green, so maybe that is it.

Thanks! I'll try again

I like to use a bar soar (not detergent) for the job. Lux is my favorite. Ivory works ok. too

I like to use Kiss My Face olive soap. I shred it w/ a cheese grater and then dissolve it in warm water and spritz or soak the to-be-felted item in it depending on what it is.

It's super slippery and so it works great!

Ah, I'll have to try that too. I was actually reading about using pure olive oil soap to make a soap gel for felting, but it sounded complicated...this is an easy alternative. Thanks!
