recipies for more natural cleaning products

i want to start reducing the amoutn of nasty chemicals i used in my house and am after some recipies for more natural cleaners for the kitchen adn bathroom and for floor mopping etc. also more natural bathing stuff too

i do have a half bag of soapnuts, i dotn realyl like them so much but keep em on hand for when i run out of washing liquid.

i am gonna go out this weekend and buy some Ecover laundry detergant, lanudry bleach and otehr bits btu i do want to try to make some myself to save money. DH sai ok with this but i know he willprefer to use some chemicaly stuff for himself and thats fine

vinegar! It works on just about anything!
Its sooo cheap too! All I Did was buy a large spray bottle add 1/3 of vinegar the rest water and start cleaning! 1 big jug lasts me months and months!
It saves sooo much money and I love that I can spray it right near were my kids are and not worry about the effects of harsh chemicals since we eat vinegar on salads as well

cool, im gonna get some white vinegar tomorrow anyway to use in my diaper wash so will jsut get a bigger bottle and a sprey bottle so bicarb some different EO's and some Apple Cider Vinegar as i want to quit using shampoo for me and the kids (DH refuses but doesnt mind what i do)

i found a thread on this very subject about 5 moins before i left to go get DS1 from school so haent really had a chance to have a good look throu but what i did fine is very useful.

I use a 50/50 blend of white vinegar & water to clean just about everything. I add about 1 tsp of lemon & lime eo to 32 oz vinegar & water in a big spray bottle. Shake well before each use to distribute the oils.

Smells like a really good salad dressing.

I have, and really like, the book Clean House, Clean Planet.

I bought it used on Amazon for like $5, it has lots of great recipes for natural cleaners!
