Supply/Period question

I have read and noticed that when you get your period when nursing, your supply can drop.

I got my period when my DS was 4 1/2 months old and I did notice a drop in supply, but I drink the tea, eat oatmeal, yadda yadda and was able to build it back up but not to the extent it was before I got my period.

My question is......will your milk supply replenish after you start getting your period or does it drop consistently?

I got my period at 3months post partum and I find that when I am expecting my period and during my supply is lower, and ds is more cranky (pms hormones?) and when my period is over my supply goes back to normal.

Mine dropped for my period, took a couple days to rebound, and then there was a little boost around when I ovulated. So I didn't have any long-term problems, and in fact, over time, the drop around my period seemed to decrease--the first couple months were the worst, and eventually it was barely noticeable.
