I just posted on the "June!!!" thread the phrase "that just takes the cake."

And now I want cake. Carrot cake with cream cheese icing. :

I'm going crazy.

I was talking about John Edwards earlier and then I suddenly had the craving for Edward's Key Lime Pie.

I'm going crazy, too.

Mmm... cake. I think I'm going to try to hippy up a recipe for vegan pound cake today, see if I can fill the desire with something not too terribly unhealthy.

This past week watermelons went on sale. Just seeing the picture of a watermelon in the ad was enough to start me on a watermelon kick, where I have eaten at least one (if not more) whole watermelons a day.

I hope you get some carrot cake and key lime pie -- both sound absolutely amazing.

I've been wanting cupcakes for a few days, the problem is the mix I have is "reserved" for "birth day" and it's not here yet so I have to wait.

THANK YOU for reminding me I bought a watermelon. Guess what I'm cutting up today?! I forgot all about it, I am surprised my daughter hasn't reminded me yet she was SO excited about it.

Worst.story.ever.

I went to Eat N Park after extensive research as to who would have carrot cake. I then asked the girl at the hostess desk if they had it. She said yes. I had lunch, ordered my piece of carrot cake, and THEY SOLD THE LAST ONE WHILE I WAS SITTING THERE.

Cruel, cruel world!

That is beyond unfair! Is there a bakery anywhere, where you could pick up a slice (or hubby) so you can have some tonight?

I know! I'm hoping my bad luck with the food thing means baby is coming soon.

Right?

Right?

I know, I'm nuts. They have nothing to do with each other.

that deserves a boycott!

that reminds me of when I was overdue with my youngest. There was a restaurant up the coastline from us called "huckleberry pie". Sounds kind of self-descriptive no? So we drive the hour to get there and they have NO pie--nevermind huckleberry!

Oh my gosh! I'm not usually a pie fan, but the thought of huckleberry pie a la mode, just about made me drool onto my keyboard.

I need to make lunch!
