Just check to see if there is folic acid in the vitamins you are already taking.
I believe it is recommended to have 400 microgram per day, beginning at least one month before conception and continuing through the first trimester. You may want to check with your Dr or midwife to confirm that amount.
Thank you all for the suggestions. I just started taking Solgar Prenatals which have 800 mcg of Folic Acid, so I assume I'm all covered. I appreciate the input! I've read so much over the years about prenatal suggestions but it's so hard for me to recall it all now that I can put it to good use. Typical!
