Mucus plug or poorly digested lettuce?

Do I win an award for most disgusting thread title?

But seriously. I sat down to pee, and maybe I pooped and forgot, but there was some stringy brown/white/pink thing in the toilet, floating vertically. I wiped my bum but it was clean, so I am thinking it was mucus plug.

But anyway, I know that even if it was a mucus plug, that still doesn't guarantee anything.

I think you win, hands down!

If bum was clean, my money is on mucous plug. I am still waiting for mine, even though it usually shows up about a week or two before labor.

when you wiped your vag was it a little slippier or slidier than usual...that's how i could tell mine was mucus plug.

fwiw...my mucus plug wasn't green though...always brown and then towards the end there, clear with red and pink.

Oh my goodness, I am laughing so hard I am crying. I read the title to DH who said "EWwww, stop right there, that is gross!" and I said, wait, you have got to hear her DDDDC and he laughed and I think vomited a little in his mouth at the same time.
