Pain in the ......?

Does anyone else's cervix just HURT?

At least I think it is my cervix. However the pain is much worse when my bladder is full (it does not *feel* like the location of my bladder, but I did test positive for a bladder infection I have been treating for 2 days).

It's a sharp stabbing pain, like almost a burning/pulling/pinching sensation. I am having a few cramp-like contractions here and there but nothing to write home about. Is it possible the pain is my cervix changing? Or does that only happen with contractions?

I am also not feeling the baby's butt up so high and I am suddenly STARVING and have an appetite of a lumberjack, even though I am still pretty nauseated, so maybe she has dropped and that is why I feel the increased pressure.

You would think I would know this by now, but I feel like a first time mom again! So, anyone else have a burning cervix and are you dilating at all? Damn these short fingers and arms, or I would check for myself. Ow!

Nice that your baby isn't so high up, though. Mine is still trying to puncture my lungs and stomach with his/her feet. :

I've got the same pain. Plus the menstrual crampy contractions that are really "nothing to write home about" as you said. It also seems to be worse when my bladder is full but I chalk that up to the bladder putting pressure on the babe and the baby putting pressure on me. (just guessing though)

Little man is dropping everyday it seems.

Not sure about dialation because my last VE was about a week ago and the pain came after that so who knows?

I have not had any VEs either, and probably won't... which I thought was great and now I am dying to know!

Same here.

I know he's head down and it seems when he moves around is when I get sharper pains in my cervix that seem to radiate to my upper inner thigh. I've felt this for months though and at my last VE on Tuesday I was only fingertip dilated.

Right now I have an extreme amount of pressure way down low, and I know it's not a full bladder. Though I am having trouble peeing all of a sudden.

I've gone from no appetite, to nasuea and now today it seems I can't eat enough.

I have no clue what is going on and this is number 3 for me!

Yep, cervical piercing pains.

Also just found my cervix (for the first time ever in pregnancy - I've never had a VE in the past, this is a first . . . funny how going UC makes me more curious), and it's very very very thin. But it doesn't seem to be dilated.

My friend had her husband do some long-distance psychic healing and he said it's not my bladder, and that my cervix is "juicy" so hopefully this pain is just pregnancy related and it means things are finally starting to get pre-laborish. Maybe I won't make it to 42w afterall? I have decided I want her to come on May 23rd. I really hope she listens or I will be REALLY bummed on the 24th.
