Our apt wants to spray for "pests" please help ASAP!

I don't want them to, obviously. They say it's "nontoxic", but that pregnant women and infants should vacate the premises for two hours after they're done. How do I object to them spraying? They say it's necessary because we have a pest problem in our building, but the only "pests" I've noticed are ants.

Maybe if you tell them you are extremely chemically sensitive they won't want to risk the liability. It has worked for me in the past.

Perhaps you can bargain with them and agree to use less toxic pest traps or completely non-toxic diatomacheous earth.

Stand up for your right to not be poisoned in your own home.

My apartment sprayed every month and I just simply told them no. They would come in and change the air filters and normally spray but I would decline everytime. Eventually I just went to the office and told them to put me on the "No Spray" list. (I don't know if there was a list, but I was on it either way. lol) That was that. They didn't spray my apartment.
