...and I am completely speechless! It was the Formula by Rx thread and it links to a website for a product you can paint on your nipples to encourage weaning (nipplesnomore.com)! AND they have the nerve to call it weaning the nurturing way!?! I have the links saved but I can't remember the protocol to report Google Ads, so if someone has it, please post who I'm supposed to send it to.

I am floored. That is child abuse. Hey, lets poison our child so we don't have to show them love anymore. Great, idea: stupid people.

Copy the link (right click on the ad from the original page) into an email to cynthiam@mothering.com for any unethical ad, including any formula advertisements.

Once the product dries, It is completely safe for children and babies to put in there mouth.
Grammar check?

Here is what others are saying:

In just one day, I was able to stop breastfeeding my 15 month old daughter. I must say it was sooo much easier than I ever dreamed possible. I also appreciated your helpful tips included with your product. It actually made this process enjoyable.

seems like a poor decision w/regards to advertising space allocation.

for the record, i'd never dream to use a product like this.......never

BUT, because someone chooses to wean their child does not mean they can't show love to their child. Love goes a lot deeper than JUST breastfeeding.

I was thinking the same thing. And child abuse? I'm certainly not in favor of forcing weaning on a baby or child who isn't ready, but as far as I can tell, it's just making nursing taste bad. How is that abuse?

I won't even let most nail polishes touch my fingernails...and they're selling the crap for nipples?!

It isn't. I wouldn't dream of doing it, but it is certainly not child abuse.

I agree, it IS child abuse. Putting something foul tasting and potentally harmful on your nipples and allowing your INFANT/very young toddler to eat it? How is that NOT child abuse?

This isn't really within the scope of the Lactivism forum. If you need to report an ad, please send it to the address above.
