Exactly! I'm a little surprised that so many people want a laundry setup that makes line drying almost impossible.

Ooh, definitely! We have an open staircase, so we just toss our laundry from the second floor down to the first floor, gather it up, and toss it in the downstairs hamper. Totally tacky, but it works.

Our "laundry room" is a closet in the kitchen, so my laundry is always out for company to see.

Some day, I hope to have an actual separate room for doing the laundry, so my dining room table doesn't get covered with clean laundry every few days.
