so sad! frost got my seedlings

oh green-thumbed mommies...i am so bummed today! i moved all our seedlings out to the 3-season porch to get some sun and then forgot to move them back in last night. everything is frozen and wilted! i think the brussell sprouts and garlic survived, but all the tomatoes, peppers, calednula, stevia, eggplant, onions, and on and on...DEAD.

we can hit the farmer's market next month to get a few new plants...and i still have a ton of seeds left for the direct seeded plants...its just a bummer since i spent all my "mommy time" the last 2 months tending my little sprouts. oh well. nothing i can do now, right?

Ouch- I'm so sorry for you. My seedlings are just sprouting and I swear I'm more nervous about caring for them than I was about figuring out how to care for Eli when he was brand new! Do you have time to start them again?

I followed someone's suggestion on this board and put my pots in the oven with the light on to sprout. It was working great til Michael decided to bake something and preheated- thus frying a flat of cherry tomato seedlings and melting a bit of plastic, and generally causing him to swear a bit...
