Pants, who needs them anyway?

Any else walk around with no pants on a lot or am I the only weirdo? Seriously, from about 28 weeks on I just stopped wearing pants when I was home. Even the maternity pants dig in either at the pubic bone or the top of my belly so I just gave up. Plus turning in bed was harder with fabric against fabric. The minute I get home, my pants come off.

So yeah....I gave up pants. It's pretty freeing actually. Anyone else?

IKWYM!

While I haven't given up pants completely as I'm in/out a lot of my day (although I am down to only one pair of jeans that fits and only a couple of capris), I am preferring skirts a lot! Mostly non-maternity ones with a stretchy waist that I can wear under my belly. Or dresses. Dresses are really freeing. I wish I had more than two!

At night, though, pajamas are out the window! I can no longer tolerate sleeping with clothes on.

Popping in from "new posts" to say:

In late pg, all I ever wore were dresses and jumpers! And bikini undies that fit under the belly. Or, in my 3rd pg, a single pair of pants that were incredibly loose and didn't cut in anywhere (that I'd only purchased because they were part of a 3-piece set- skirt, top, and pants- at the thrift store, and the pants were insanely big when I bought the set. i figured it was worth the price for the other 2 pieces.)

I have one pair of 'real' pants that still fits, and just barely. I hate them. I only wear them when I have to look somewhat presentable. The rest of the time I am in my husband's pajama bottoms.

I actually have 1 pair of comfy pants. They are yoga like, but very loose. I've worn HOLES in them. They are literally falling apart . I mostly wear those if someone is coming over and I have to put pants on. I just wear a sweater to cover the holes. I do have a pair of decent jeans that I wear when I'm out, even they can be annoying when sitting so off they go when I get home!

we are a no pants house hold here, we always joke about it because if someone comes to the door we run around going "where are my pants" at each other. I am much more of a skirt girl anyway, i actually dont own any pants, not even jeans, except for pyjama bottoms.

AMEN sister!!!!

I have older boys in the house 10 and 12 who would kill me if they saw me pantless, but omg when they are out, I am free!!!! My four yo still cruises around in his spiderman undies, so I just "join" him. My dh just thinks we are all nuts...but then again, he's a skinny boy and everything is loose on him, so he just doesn't understand lol. And I was worried about modesty during labor! HA!!! I'll be one of the nekkie ones :P

Not totally pantless, but when home i live in a few very very old pairs of pajama pants. They are so loose and comfy. One particular pair are so worn there are holes in them, but they are so comfy.

I've given up on pants, shirts, underwear, bras...the whole shebang.

I prefer to be naked. Its just me and DH and he certainly doesn't mind (I swear he's the only man I've ever known who LIKES stretch marks). I'll wear a dress or loose pants if I go out, but at home its 100% naked.

Haha, IKJWYM! I gave up on those ages ago

When I'm home I'm wearing nothing or a tank w/undies. And the clothing is only recently cause people keep popping by to see if the baby has come!

Pantsless here! When DH is at work, I'm usually sitting naked or in just a shirt on top of a receiving blanket on the yoga ball. On the weekends, I spend most of the day in my misshapen pajama pants, but I'm usually naked by the evening-- or whenever DH turns on the heater.

What a lovely birth story, thankyou for sharing it. Your baby is beautiful, i love the snoozing pic, but it makes me want my baby so bad!

My husband is *thrilled* that I am joining him in the pants-rebellion. He thinks that there is a Great Pants Conspiracy in the world. He has been trying to convince me for a long time that I should turn from the dark side and join the rebellion.

Glad to see some of my sisters-in-rebellion running around here.
