i am feeling movement below the hairline...

sorry for the title. but really, is there anything about being 9 months pregnant that isn't TMI?

my DD never dropped, so i've never carried a baby this low before. is it normal that i can feel movement under my pubic hair? does this kid have its hand on its head? what if my scar separated and it's sticking it hand through? yes, i am a very paranoid person. can anyone reassure me that this is normal?

thanks. write quickly, or else i will continue to imagine all kinds of bizarre possibilities!

I think it's normal although this is the first pg I have noticed it (and it's my third baby.) it's good your baby is getting low so celebrate those sensations!!

my 2nd baby did that too. it was wierd and then it kinda hurt a little when she was turning around like she was grinding on the bone. and you can never hold your pee longer than 5 min. lol. they lower they go the closer you are to having them. my baby stayed there for 2 weeks before i went into labor.

I know what you mean!!
Still my last baby didn't engage until I had ARM at 9cms dilated, so any signs that this baby is lower and might come out easier are good to me!

2 weeks! i'm going to assume that's a typo and you mean 2 days. i do not want to feel this for 2 weeks!!

you're right patrick's mummy, this is a positive sign. i will look on the bright side!

It's a good sign, baby is low. I think if your scar ruptured, you would definately be feeling pain...bad pain...lol not just movement. Baby may have a hand up by it's face, it's actually very common for babies to be born with a hand/arm up next to their face. It's all squishy and squeezes right through. My baby has gone up and down, one day I feel movement below my belly button, the next it seems he's right on top of my pubic bone. *shrug* I wish he'd move down, stay down and get serious already!

Yep, been experiencing the same thing for awhile now. I'm guessing it's little fingers....and they are as low as they cna possibly get...

Yup, its called a nuchal hand, my first delivery he had his hand on his cheek and when he was born he thrust his hand forward, my midwife teased that he wanted to fly out like superman.

My last 2 babies have been born with their hands up by their face.

I've had that feeling and assumed her arms were up near her face. It kind of tickles, in an uncomfortable way, like her little fingers are trying to dig out.

hm, if the hand is by the face, do you think i'll deliver that way? i'd rather not!

oh well, i don't even care, i just want this baby out! OUT!!

Chances are when baby is ready, he/she will make him/herself into the neatest package available so will move the hand, but if not, at least you will have any interesting story to tell!
