Nicknames for this baby...

Do you have any nicknames for your baby yet?

My 3 year old gave this baby a nickname the first day we told him about it. He says, "I'm gonna call the baby Nino!"
And it's stuck! He gets on my lap and asks, "Am I sitting on Nino? Is it okay?"
It's very cute!

I never really had any nicknames for the first two before they were born.

I'm thinking about going for "Zen Baby" because my ultimate goal is to conquer my fears and ENJOY every bit of this little miracle.

DH was looking at some development pictures and, upon seeing some around 5 - 6 weeks in utero, said "Wow... that looks like a dinosaur!"

So... T-Rex it is, until we know the sex.

We refer to this one as Kid 3.0 .

So far dh has taken to calling this one "the little baby," as opposed to the toddler, who of course is "the big baby." Unoriginal, but also unmistakable!

My uncle has named our baby Split Pea. We are "The Soups" because our last name is Campbell. I'm Chicken Noodle and my DH is Tomato. The baby is Split Pea because of nicknames like Sweet Pea and a Pea in a Pod. We just got our first present too today, 3 bibs in a lovely Green. My Aunt and Uncle say that it is "Split Pea Green". lol.

OK, that is too funny, I love it!

Anyway, DH called the last bean Seamus and in sticking with the Celtic/Irish theme, this one is Hamish. My sister prefers to call it Meadowlark. (I really don't know where either of them came up with the names, sis and DH are just odd!)

That is very cute MrsSoup.

I have taken to calling the babe Little Bean for now... maybe something else will come to mind after the first ultrasound... DP is much better at coming up with cute nicknames for the kids. DSD is Peanut. lol

My Mom is already calling it Ethan, which is the intended name for a boy. Most people in my family are rooting for a boy, except DSD, she switches back and forth between wanting a sister and twins, which would be a sister and a brother. lol

I'm hoping DD will come up with a cute nickname. We have friends who after their first ultrasound with their DD they started calling her Bean. She is still called Bean! They just had their second and joked that she looked like a squished bunny in the first ultra sound, so she was called Squish through the whole pregnancy. I would LOVE to have a cute name for this baby....We actually told DD last night, so I hope she'll come up with something soon! LOL

We dont really have a nick name yet. My husband constantly says to me "You have a baby in you." in a cute way. DS says "Dat my baby sister, Mommy?" "I wanna see my baby sister."

He has been asking for a baby sister for at least 6 months so when we told him there was a baby in mommys tummy he instantly said, "My baby sister?!"

Hes so cute, I hope it actually is a baby sister. I dont want him to be dissapointed.

Me and DH started out calling it "squishy", bc the sperm looks kinda squishy. Then me and my BFF were at a chinese buffet and I LOVE corn nuggets and kept piling them on my plate and she said " I'm gonna call your baby corn nugget, nugget for short." I call it bean, bc after the u/s..it looks like a little bean.

I told my BFF that when she gets PG, then I'm calling hers 'fish stick", fishy for short...bc it started out swimming like a little fishy. We laughed until we cried.

Right now we're calling the baby lima bean or NB (for new baby).
