great shawl pattern for Koigu (varigated, handpainted yarn)?

I have fallen in love with Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino, prompted by this gorgeous shawl on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/margene/zetor-scarf. (Also can be spied on the Yarn Harlot here: http://www.yarnharlot.ca/blog/archiv...lake_city.html. very last pic on the post, of the woman showing yarn in her trunk).

So I adore the yarn. But that shawl pattern (actually called Zetor scarf) is only a chart -- at this point, I only do written directions, despise charts. So what other shawl pattern with written directions would really show off this yarn? I'm looking for a moderate-size, lovely shawl, as I live in warm NC and am quite short.

Thanks in advance!! --Nancy

Why not just write out that pattern? It's only 48 rows that you would have to "translate" and each chart is pretty small.

Charlottes Web is another very popular koigu yarn pattern. It was my first lace pattern and by the end I was able to read a lace chart.
