I was reading a book to my son this evening. It's called "Let's Go Swimming with Mr. Sillypants". At the begining Mr. S signs up for swimming lessons. On the way home he starts to worry about them and then decides not to go after all. Right before bed, as he is falling asleep he says, " I hope I'm not being a sissy about this".
I don't want to read that. I really want to black that part out and fill in a different word or something.
I try to leave a lot of stuff that I don't really like, but I'm very against someone calling someone else a "sissy" and I don't want my kids to think that way. It just isn't nice or helpful.
Any ideas as to what I could change it to?
