Sewing front opening closed on pockets

Hey, all you sewing mamas... I have several pocket diapers with a front AND a back opening. I'd like to sew up the front opening. I'm thinking I would do this on a machine with a regular stitch and poly thread. As long as I dry the diaper on high to seal the holes in the PUL, should this work okay?

It should work fine. If you aren't sure though do one or two and then try it out to see if you like it before doing them all.
