Lost Mucus Plug At 28 Weeks

I think my mucus plug came out this morning didn't look bloody or anything but thought this was rather early. Is this cause for concern or could you lose it early and still go full-term.
My past 2 pregnancies I have always went past due date so it would be nice if it came early but this is wayyy to early. Any thoughts appreciated

Not a birth professional, but I lost mine a couple weeks ago right around 28 weeks, too. It was like a huge wad of white gooey gum.

I'm pretty sure it'll just regenerate. I remember a similar thing happening in a previous one of my pregnancies.

I lost mine around 30 weeks, and am 42 weeks come thursday Just the body preparing, but doesn't mean impending labor

Ditto the regeneration, but if you're not sure what it was, it might be worth getting checked out. I tend to put things off and thought I was passing mucus one time but turned out I had gotten suddenly, majorly fungal! I doubt that's common...but taught me to think twice anyway.
