fruit and vegetable pulp

This will probably get moved elsewhere but I'm not sure where else to put it...

I've just bought a juicer to go along with my emptied-out pantry and my plan to go whole foods, reduced sugar, no processed foods, etc. I haven't actually pulled the juicer out of the box (just got it yesterday) but what do I do with the pulp? I don't have a compost pile (want to do that this summer) and can't bear the thought of throwing any of it out. Soups, mixed in with meatballs/patties, vegetable dip,.... I'm drawing a blank. I'm not sure yet how moist my pulp will be but that might be a factor in it's use??

Until you start composting you can use some of it in recipes. I use my carrot pulp for carrot bread and carrot/bran muffins.

I think it would count as half-eaten fruit.

worm bin

We have a worm composting bin in the house. Not stinky and it's great for using up all of the peels, cores, etc of the fruits and veggies, egg shells, coffee grounds, pulp from juicer, etc. My kids love to look at the worms too. Our pet toads like the worms too...but for a different reason!

I use a bunch of it as fillers for meatloaf and breads and cakes and cookies, I know lots of the good nutrients are out of it with the juice but it is a wonderful way to get my kids to eat their more veggies.

My dog... (oh no did I just say that!!!!, she's in 'trouble' right now for sitting in my flowerbed) OUR-THE dog will eat some of the carrot pulp, give her too much and she turns her nose to it, give it occasionally as a 'treat' as she LOVES it.

I've never tried it because home brew grosses me out but what about using the fruit especially, possibly some of the veggies??? for some sort of fermented wine? My brother does something with apples and rasins a gallon jug and a balloon, it smells yucky but he loves it might be something to look into.
