Ankles! I have ankles!

Those of you end-of-the-month mamas who are currently mourning the loss of your ankles, take heart. Your ankles will return and vanquish the cankle monster.

I had totally forgotten what mine looked like in their non-swollen state.

oh thank goodness, i am seriously astounded by the cankles I have earned recently. And nothing i've done thus far has got rid of them.....guess I have to push out some baby!!!

congrats on being able to SEE your ankles too by the way! that's a feat as well!

Jealous. Im so jealous! I have got to get rid of my cankles...lol see my post about a four hour mw appt. *sigh* I can't wait til a couple weeks postpartum, I will have all kinds of cute shoes to wear again, even if nothing else fits!!

I remember when I had dd1 and regained my slender ankles. I seriously was afraid they would snap under the weight of my body, they looked so skinny!!

I didn't get quite as swollen this time, but was still very relieved to have my ankles back. I don't know what it was about my swollen legs and ankles -- they positively repulsed me. I mean, my whole body was huge, but it was just the legs and ankles I really hated. Turned my stomach.

I am rejoicing here as well! My feet were also ridiculously swollen (someone here on the DDC called them Shrek feet - good name!) and they really hurt! The feet are pretty much back to normal now (took almost 2 weeks!) and the ankles are slowly returning. I am still marvelling over how skinny (relatively speaking, LOL!) my legs look!

I got mine back instantly. It is so nice to have bones in my feet again!

Yeah, Isaac was born at 3:57pm last Wednesday, and by Thursday morning, I could already see a HUGE difference. It was like WOOOOOOOSH.

I never really liked my ankles before. They're "thick," even when I'm at my most in-shape. But now I appreciate them in a whole new way. h

Almost 41 weeks here, and my toes are like little helpless stubs sticking out at the ends of my feet. They're little sausages that can hardly move! ACK!
