Aubrie Ruth was born at 1:37pm, on May 11th...Mother's Day!!
I woke up at about 2:30am thinking I was in labor, but not trusting myself due to all of the contractions I've been having for weeks now and how badly I really wanted a Mother's Day baby. By 5:30am I knew I was in labor and we headed to the birth center around 9am. Aubrie was born after an hour and a half of pushing (Where oh where was my 'second baby pushing time discount'??), but I really can't complain because I didn't tear at all and am feeling great!
She was 8 lbs 1 oz and 21 1/4 inches long with a dark eyes and dark hair (the complete opposite of her big sister). Big sister is so in love with her and will not leave her side, so hopefully that will continue
So far so good with the tandem nursing too...It's so so sweet, but oh, my does my toddler look huge to me now!
