Natural shaving stuff???

My dd is 12, wants to shave her armpits-her leg hair is blond and very thin so she is okay with that but her pits are dark and quite thick-
I do not shave, never have...
so I need so help-
what kind of stuff should a child this age use??
Hand razor or electric or some kind of natural nair -type stuff?
What kind of lotion or soap or what???

get a hand razor. Schick has blades that are wrapped in wire so they don't nick your skin. Alba has some very nice shaving cream.

Anyone else remember hacking their legs up with disposable razors as a teen?! I don't suggest those.

My favorite shaving cream is Avalon's peppermint. DH likes Alba's mango vanilla.

That is what scares me-
the hacking and nicking of the skin-
especially under her arms.....

I like Avalon's peppermint shaving lotion too!

I would suggest a good quality razor (Schick Quattro, or Venus).

And teach her how to feel her curves while shaving, and to not press hard, so that she can better avoid the knicks.

BTW I would NOT recommend an electric shaver for the armpits. I have a Remington shaver which is awesome, but on the armpits it leaves some horrible painful razor burn!

I use a CV bar to shave, I break out with just about anything else. The one I use is Honey Beer.

You can just use hair conditioner, also.

I am currently using Kiss My Face shave lotion in vanilla earth. I like the mint one better. My favorite was Tom's of Maine Honeysuckle, but I haven't been able to find it in years. It came in what looked like a tube of toothpaste and you only needed a really small amount and it smelled soooooo good!

I use Aveeno and it works pretty well for me. I haven't tried any natural ones yet. All the regular brands give me a rash.
