I was completely wrong, but I must not have posted in this thread LOL.

My predictions were:

EDD: Dec 26
Baby's sex: girl--wrong, it was a boy
Weight (lbs/oz): 8lb --wrong, 7.5 pounds
Length (in): 21--wrong 20.5 inches
Baby Birthdate and gestation: Dec 27 (just over 40 weeks)--wrong, 38W4D
Time of day: night, early morning--wrong, just before 1 PM
Length of labor: 3 hours--wrong, labor less than an hour
Place of Birth: home--WOW, PHEW one thing was right! Though the mw didn't make it!
Other details: Quick birth, only hurts really for an hour and a half or so, baby born in the caul or membranes breaking at the end.--wrong, started with my water breaking and took a while to have contractions, and this time it really only hurt for about 20 minutes. Woops...

Wow, I guess I don't know squat...

Other details: Everything will go smoothly, ds will hang out with my sister for the whole thing until I start pushing, baby will come and ds will be there and be really excited and not all freaked out : Also, I will remain calm and collected and quiet and birth will be very peaceful. uh, yeah right! ds went to stay with my sister, things were NOT smooth and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbors heard me screaming!

I am happy to have met my goal of a non medicated birth in a hospital setting! My nurses and midwife were great!

My baby wouldn't come down either! They augmented my labor after about 30 hours (and I got an epidural too).

I almost did too much early labor at home, I was 8 cm, 100% effaced and zero station when I got to the birth center and he was born just under 2 hours later...I'm thinking the car ride would have sucked a lot less if we had left earlier. But I am very thankful that I had such a fast easy labor and a perfect baby! :
